Mrs. Powers

My name is Lynn Powers and I am the teacher at the Livonia Co-op Preschool. This year I celebrate my 10th anniversary at our wonderful school. My love for this Co-op began the first day I took my daughter to meet her teacher. That was 17 years ago. I spent 6 years as a Co-op mom serving as Co-President, Secretary, and GDCNC Council Delegate. I have an Associate Degree in Child Care and Development and receive continuing education by attending workshops and seminars several times a year.

Preschool has changed over the years. We are working hard to ensure that every child is prepared to meet the challenges of Kindergarten and beyond.

The core of my philosophy is based on my belief that children grow and learn in an environment where they are loved and accepted for who they are. I have the best job in the world and feel blessed to be a part of the Livonia Co-op Nursery School.
